[ July 12, 2008; 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. ] Some of the Society’s members, who meet to paint once a month, will give a live demonstration of their talents on Saturday July 12 in Marquee 3 in The Parade. Admission is free.

[ July 12, 2008; 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. ] The Claret duo of Sandra Robinson (vocals) and Tim Robinson (guitar) are passionate about playing music, as is reflected in their live sets, and they thrive on their audience’s enjoyment.

For this set Claret will be playing  a selection of their alternative material, beyond their usual folk influences,  song ballads,  and subtle instrumentals.  On Tim’s solo set he will perform his own fingerstyle  arrangements on electro-acoustic [...]

[ July 12, 2008; 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. ] Salmacis, a group of amateur dancers from Sutton Coldfield, will do a belly-dancing workshop, 1pm-1.45pm, Saturday July 12 in a marquee on The Parade.

The performers are united in their passion for belly dance, the Western name for an Arabic style of dance developed in the Middle East, where it is known as Raks Sharqi.
