Salmacis, a group of amateur dancers from Sutton Coldfield, will do a belly-dancing workshop, 1pm-1.45pm, Saturday July 12 in a marquee on The Parade.
The performers are united in their passion for belly dance, the Western name for an Arabic style of dance developed in the Middle East, where it is known as Raks Sharqi.
Salmacis aim to provide a fun and entertaining performsnce of traditional Middle Eastern drum routines through to more modern Turkish and Egyptian pop choreography.
