3:45 pmto4:30 pm

Acclaimed Sutton bluesman Paul Cowley performs at Sutton Library (Meeting Room 2) between 3.45pm and 4.30pm.

Vocalist-guitarist Paul will be joined for the gig by harmonica ace Tony Stokes.

Together they offer an intoxicating mix including elements of early country-blues and Chicago and contemporary blues interspersed with Paul’s original compositions. They perform regularly in the Midlands area and on the national festival circuit.

Paul’s debut album Don’t Need Too Much received excellent reviews, and a second album is due for release later this year.

Paul is co-founder and driving force in renowned blues club The Sutton Blues Collective.

Tony is a respected and active figure in The National Harmonica League.

US blues hero Guy Davis once said to Paul: “Your love of this music shines”.

Admission is free.
