Kitty Aldridge Signing

Sutton Festival Of Arts has managed to persuade author Kitty Aldridge to give a talk at Waterstone’s on July 12 at 1pm, as well as doing a signing.

The acclaimed writer, whose debut novel Pop, set in Sutton Coldfield, is being made into a film starring Patrick Stewart, will talk for between half an hour and 45 minutes upstairs at the store in The Parade.
Kitty will also chat about her new novel Cryers Hill.

Seating is available. To book a space, call Kim Shaw at Waterstone’s on 0121 321 2333.

Other local authors appearing on the day downstairs include Anne Bennett (2pm), Christine Coleman (3pm), and John Bassett and Patrick Hayes (3.30pm).

The bookshop will round off the afternoon by hosting some readings by members of Centrestage School Of Speech & Drama at 4.30pm.
