Keen gardeners, Hazel Astling and Alison Ker, are hoping for sunshine this weekend to welcome visitors to their open gardens. Teamed with their garden displays is an exhibition of stone sculptures by Hazel’s husband, Viv, and two of his colleagues in the Shapeshifters Sculpture Group.

Trevor Clarke and David Barnes will be giving demonstrations of stone carving and letter-cutting in slate during the afternoon to show how their sculptures are created.

The Garden and Sculpture Show takes place on Sunday July 13 from 2pm – 5pm at 16 & 18 Knighton Drive, Sutton Coldfield. Plants and sculptures are for sale and also homemade teas.

Entrance is £1 for adults (children free). All proceeds are in aid of WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature).
